Latest Grant News! Thank You Walmart Foundation for believing in The Big E Foundation and awarding us a $1,000 grant. You are helping Ian's dream come true. 42 Financial Grants Issued! The foundation issues financial grants for families that need help making their kid’s athletic dreams come true. 1 Academic Achievement Award Awarded to Zach Goodrich of the Belle Tire U16 AAA Hockey Club. He maintained a rigorous AAA hockey schedule and delivered a 4.0 GPA. Congrats! 1 Organ Recipient Grant The University of Michigan Transplant Center sponsors a summer camp, Camp Michitanki, for kids that have received an organ transplant. This grant will allow one child to attend the camp at no charge. We want and need to help MORE... spread the word!	Grant Request The mission of the Big E Foundation is to promote its theme of Have A Purpose (H.A.P.) by supporting amateur ice hockey and other sports through equipment donations, grants, event sponsorships and organized competitions; by enhancing closed head injury rehabilitation in children through athletic participation and other beneficial activities; and by fostering organ donor awareness.
